I have a friend who unapologetically and un-ironically loves the much-maligned PSL.
I love this for her. I love that she’s got something special this season that gives her no small amount of joy. Especially because she’s the kind of person who overextends herself in taking care of others. You bet that this holiday season she’ll be going above and beyond to find gifts, cook and clean, host, and generally show up in really beautiful, self-sacrificing ways for her loved ones. Not to mention, she’s still got work deadlines to fulfill and a promotion to capture. 😱
This is the season, after all, when we tend to get so wrapped up in the hustle & bustle it’s easy to de-prioritize what makes us feel good. It’s easy to get so invested in chasing and creating joy that we can forget to get ourselves the damn latte (or whatever it is that sparks our personal joy).
Whether you love or loathe PSLs, we’re here to encourage you to plan ahead and add some spice—something that you love and that brings you joy—before your schedule gets crowded out with everyone else’s needs. (And yes, “everyone else” includes your children AND your boss.)

🎁 30 for 30 Holiday Challenge
Our annual holiday challenge is dead-simple this year: move with us for 30 minutes every day for 30 days. Classes are available live and on-demand so you can make it work around your holiday parties, work deadlines, etc, etc.
It's 30 days of HIIT & Flow, yoga, and bootcamp classes, with some surprise bonus events also in store. We’ll also have special family-friendly movement classes on Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Christmas Eve so that you can make movement part of your family traditions.

☀️ The Getaway
Ooh this is going to be a good one. Three nights of camping, exploring, and campfire-ing on the Southern California coast in the company of people who love sweating in the great outdoors and getting silly under the stars.
We’ll be trail hiking or running by day, yoga-ing by afternoon, and food truck and smoresing by evening.
Glamping packages (where we set up your tent & sleep system for you) are available, or BYO gear.
Activeist Fund updates
The Activeist Fund is our fund to increase access to movement and health. 10% of all memberships at Flex & Flow go into the fund, as do 100% of funds donated.
Thus far in 2021, the Activeist Fund has awarded over $15,000 in grants and scholarships. Recent activities include:
Cash grants:
1 grant to assist with housing and food expenses for a family displaced during Hurricane Ida
1 grant to assist a solopreneur whose business was hard hit by the pandemic
Movement scholarships
1 scholarship for a community member to pursue specialty training in a movement field
75 scholarships for free access to our holiday challenge to local non-profit employees
